Alfred E. Calligaris is President of The Stebbins Engineering and Manufacturing Company in Watertown, New York. Prior to his position at Stebbins, he was a manager with the accounting firm Touche Ross & Co., presently Deloitte Touche.

Mr. Calligaris serves his community in a variety of capacities. He is a member of the Board of Directors and Executive Committee, along with Vice President for the Greater Watertown – North Country Chamber of Commerce. He is also a member of the Board of Directors of The Development Authority of the North Country. He has held positions as Director and Treasurer of the Jefferson County Job Development Corporation, and Director and Vice President of Finance of the Seaway Valley Council of the Boy Scouts of America. He also served on the Board of Directors of Blue Cross of Watertown, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Utica and Ives Hill Country Club, Watertown.

Mr. Calligaris holds a Bachelors of Science in Economics, and majored in accounting at Villanova University, Pennsylvania. He is a Certified Public Accountant and is a member of the American Institute of CPAs, New Jersey Institute of CPAs and New York Society of CPAs.
