Homeowner Policy
Homeowner Policy with Utica's Earthquake Endorsement
A typical homeowner policy does not provide coverage for damage caused by an earthquake. However, if a claim to your property occurs as a result of the earthquake, and the claim is caused by fire, explosion or breakage of covered glass, there is coverage for the resulting claim. This endorsement broadens your coverage so in the event of an earthquake your property would have insurance protection. This endorsement may also have a larger deductible than your basic homeowner policy. There are certain limitations with this coverage. Contact your local independent agent for more information.
