A Summary of Coverages Available Through Utica's Graphic Communications Program
In addition to coverage for your Commercial Property, General Liability, Inland Marine and Crime exposures, Utica’s Graphic Communications Program offers a number of custom coverages designed to meet the special insurance needs of the graphic communications
industry. Some of those coverages include:

Graphic Communications Industries Extension Endorsement
For no additional premium, this endorsement extends property coverage to include:

• Coverage for Foundations
• Backup of Sewers and Drains
• Marring or Scratching of Plates
• Temperature or Humidity

Equipment Breakdown Coverage
Utica National’s Equipment Breakdown coverage for printers is similar to the old “boiler and machinery” coverage but provides a more comprehensive and updated version. Equipment Breakdown coverage is a vital supplement to your policy because it provides broad protection for your electrical and computer equipment, communications systems, boilers, air conditioning systems and production machines. Coverage applies to:

• Disturbances from artificially generated electrical current
• Mechanical breakdown
• Explosion of steam boilers, engines or turbines
• Loss or damage to steam or water boilers, steam engines or turbines caused by a
  condition or event inside the equipment.

Graphic Communications Errors and Omissions Coverage
This liability coverage provides protection against claims which allege “wrongful acts” committed during the policy period. Wrongful acts include any error, omission or negligent act committed in the course of providing your graphic communications services. Defense coverage is provided for any lawsuit that falls within the policy’s terms, even if the allegations are groundless, false or fraudulent. The policy also provides reimbursement for all reasonable expenses incurred at the company’s request, including a per-day allowance for loss of earnings when an insured must take time off from work to assist us in the investigation or defense of a claim or suit.

Publishers Liability Coverage Form
This liability coverage provides errors and omissions protection for publishers of weekly newspapers and magazines. This insurance applies to loss under four separate coverages: Publishers’ Liability, Advertisers’Liability, Personal Injury and Contractual Liability. Defense coverage is provided for any lawsuit that falls within the policy’s terms, including a suit seeking injunctive relief, even if the allegations are groundless, false or fraudulent.

Limited Pollution Coverage Extension Endorsement
Since many businesses in the graphic communications industry involve the use of inks, solvents and hazardous chemicals, your chances of facing an environmental impairment claim are increased. Because of this, Utica National has developed the Limited Pollution Coverage Extension Endorsement.

This endorsement provides $100,000 of liability coverage for loss or damage resulting from the dispersal, release, discharge or seepage of pollutants at any premises you own, rent or occupy, or at any site or location at which you or any contractors or subcontractors are working. The endorsement also provides for the defense of any lawsuit that falls within the
terms of coverage.
