Our claims professionals will work to get you back on your feet (and back behind the wheel) as quickly as possible! Plus, our direct repair program offers easy, convenient repair services with all work guaranteed for as long as you own your vehicle (NY and CT only).

Additional Liability Coverage with Umbrella Policy

You can add a Personal Umbrella Policy, which provides you with the additional liability protection you may need, above the limits of your Utica auto and homeowners policies, up to $2 million.

Good rates for good drivers — and a variety of discounts!*

  • Accident Prevention Course - This discount is applied when the policyholder completes a state-approved safe-driving course. The credit is applied to your premium for three years from the date of course completion.
  • Account Credit - Applied when you also insure your home or condo with Utica National, or when you obtain your tenants insurance from us.
  • Active Theft-Disabling Device - This credit is available for vehicles with a hood-lock that must be released from inside the auto as well as a device that disables the vehicle by making the fuel, ignition, or starting system inoperative.
  • Alarms - This credit is available for vehicles with a hoodlock that must be released from inside the auto as well as an audible alarm system that can be heard at least 300
    feet away from the vehicle and sounds for a minimum of three minutes.
  • Anti-Lock Brakes - This discount applies to vehicles equipped with two or four factory-installed wheels each with ABS (Anti-Lock Braking System).
  • Company Car Discount - This discount is available on single-car policies when the insured also operates a company vehicle for business or pleasure.
  • Daytime Running Lights - This credit is available for
    vehicles with factory-installed daytime running lights.
  • Driver Training Credit - Available to individuals under 21 years of age who have completed a driver education course.
  • Good Student Discount - Available for principal operators who are full-time students and maintain a “B” or better grade-point average.
  • Multi-Car Discount - This credit applies when more than one vehicle is owned by an individual or is jointly owned by two or more relatives.
  • Passive Restraints - This credit applies if the auto is equipped with driver- and/or passenger-side factory installed automatic restraint conforming to federal crashprotection requirements.
  • Vehicle Recovery System - This discount applies to vehicles equipped with a recovery system (including OnStar).
  • Window-Glass Etching - This credit applies to vehicles with the identification number etched on one of the windows.

UTICA’S AUTO EXTENSION PAK endorsement offers:

  • Diminishing Deductible: From the date of purchase, for every year without a collision
    loss, the collision deductible is reduced by $100.
  • Emergency Living Expenses: In the event of a covered loss, receive up to $500 for living expenses if you’re stranded at least 50 miles from your primary garaging location while you wait for your vehicle to be repaired.
  • Airbag Malfunction: Covers accidental inflation.
  • Enhanced Towing: Double any existing policy limit.
  • Personal Effects: Up to $250 for loss or damage to personal property in the event of a covered loss.
  • Death Benefit: Existing death benefit coverage increased by $2,000.
  • Increased Transportation Expense: $10 a day or $300 a month above current limit.
