O. Matt President of the Matt Brewing Company, which produces Saranac beers and a variety of other specialty products, including Saranac soft drinks. Mr. Matt serves his community in a variety of capacities. He is a member and past chairman of the board of the Mohawk Valley EDGE (the lead economic development agency of the Mohawk Valley), a trustee of the Mohawk Valley Heart Institute and a board member of the Brewers Association. Mr. Matt also serves on the boards of Burrows Paper Corporation, Utica Cutlery Company, the advisory boards of M&T Bank and the Indium Corporation of America. He also is a past member of the Mohawk Valley Chamber of Commerce board of directors and executive committee, the board of directors of the Greater Utica United Way and the board of directors of the St. Elizabeth Medical Center. Mr. Matt holds a bachelor of arts degree from Union College and a master's degree in business administration from Cornell University's Johnson School of Management. He served as an officer in the United States Navy from 1967 to 1970. |
