Dr. Acevedo serves as Medical Director of the Intensive Care Units at Crouse and Community General Hospitals, and Medical Director for Respiratory Therapy at Crouse Hospital. He has served as president of the Medical Staff, and chair of the board for the Quality Improvement Committee of Crouse hospital. He is a clinical professor of medicine at the Upstate Medical University. He is a member of the Board of Medical Advisors for the American Association for Respiratory Care and has served as chair of the board. He is the present chair of the Respiratory Care Network Steering Committee and has served on the Health and Science Policy committee for the American College of Chest Physicians.
