John Griffin

Mr. Griffin joined ERO in 1974, where he held increasingly responsible positions within the region's Underwriting department. He made the transition to National Accounts Underwriting Manager in 1979 and was named Vice President and General Manager of UNI-Service Risk Management Corporation in 1982. Mr. Griffin returned to ERO as regional Underwriting Manager in 1986, the same year that he was named Assistant Secretary.

A graduate of Utica College with a bachelor's degree in business administration, Mr. Griffin holds the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU), the Associate in Risk Management (ARM), and the Associate in Reinsurance (ARe) professional designations. He also is past president of the CPCU Society's Utica chapter.
