Utica National and the Community
Besides its economic
impact in the communities where it operates - paying claims, payroll,
and supplies - Utica National and its employees contribute to
the well-being of those communities by actively supporting many
civic
and charitable causes. Utica National also sponsors a generous matching
gift program for colleges and universities that allows employees
to
double the amount of their gift, dollar for dollar, through a company
match.
In
Central New York, the Utica National Group Foundation was established
in 1989 to provide grants to non-profit organizations in Oneida,
Herkimer
and Madison counties. Since that time, the Foundation has contributed
over $3 million to more than 100 charitable and civic organizations.
