Mr. Meehan joined Utica National in 1979. He has held various positions in the Company's New England Regional Office, New York Metropolitan Regional Office and the Company's Home Office in Utica before being promoted to his current position in 1989. The office currently services over $165,000,000 of Property & Casualty business.

Mr. Meehan holds a bachelor's degree from the State University of New York Institute of Technology. He also received his Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriting designation in 1989.

Mr. Meehan is on the board of the Long Island Insurance Community and is a member of the CPCU Chapter of Long Island. He has served as a coach for both Little League Baseball and CYO Basketball. He enjoys golf, basketball, softball, skiing and racquetball. He and his wife Julie have three children and live in Massapequa Park, New York.
