Brian
P. Lytwynec Mr. Lytwynec joined Utica National in 1981 as an Underwriter after his graduation from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, where he also completed that school’s Advanced Executive Education Program. Following a series of promotions, he was named Underwriting Manager in National Accounts in 1984 and Assistant Vice President-Manager of National Accounts in 1986. He was promoted to Vice President in 1988. In July 1993 he was promoted to Senior Vice President and Senior Marketing Officer. He was named Senior Vice President-Commercial Lines in March 1998. In April 2002 he was promoted to Executive Vice President. In February 2006 he was named President and Chief Operating Officer. Mr. Lytwynec, who holds the CPCU designation, is currently a member of the Utica Chapter of the CPCU Society, and the Board of Directors for the Utica Industrial Development Corporation, as well as the United Way of Greater Utica. He is also a trustee of the Church of Annunciation in Ilion, New York. He is past president of the Ilion Central School District Foundation, past president and a director of Family Services of Greater Utica, Inc., a former director of the New York State Future Business Leaders of America, former director of the House of the Good Shepherd, and has served in several voluntary capacities with the United Way of Greater Utica. He coached youth sports for many years. |
