Dale Buell

Mr. Buell serves as Assistant Vice President and Manager of Customer Support, overseeing front-line operations for the company’s Commercial Lines, Personal Lines and Customer Service divisions.

Since joining Utica’s Eastern Regional Office (ERO) Underwriting department in 1985, Mr. Buell has held increasingly responsible positions, including his 1988 promotion to Technical Supervisor in the Specialized Products division and his appointment as the division’s Services Manager in 1992. He was promoted to ERO Services Manager in 1998, and was promoted to Manager of the Commercial Lines Customer Support department in 2006. He was named an officer, Assistant Secretary, in 2007, and promoted to Assistant Vice President in 2010.

A graduate of the State University of New York at Oneonta, Mr. Buell holds the Associate in Underwriting (AU), Associate in Risk Management (ARM) and Associate in Automation Management (AAM) professional designations as well as the Certificate in General Insurance.
