Kristen Martin is Senior Vice President, General Auditor and Corporate Secretary for the Utica National Insurance Group.

Ms. Martin joined Utica National as an Examiner in 2001 and soon afterward was promoted to Staff Attorney. She was named Associate Claims Attorney in 2003 and Senior Associate Claims Attorney in 2006. She was named General Auditor, Compliance Officer and Assistant Vice President in 2008, promoted to Vice President a year later, and named Senior Vice President in 2011. She assumed the post of Corporate Secretary to the Utica Mutual Insurance Company and Graphics Arts Mutual Insurance Company Boards of Directors in 2012.

She holds a juris doctorate from Albany Law School, a bachelor’s degree in Economics from St. Lawrence University and the Associate in Claims (AIC) professional designation.

She has been active with Utica National’s United Way campaign, co-chaired the Adirondack Club for the overall United Way campaign, and has served on the Parent Teacher Association of the Clinton Central School District and as a Child Volunteer Protection Advocate Board Member of the American Youth Soccer Organization.
