Paul L. Cohen

Mr. Cohen serves as Vice President and Chief Actuary in Utica National’s Home Office Actuarial Department.

He joined Utica National’s Actuarial staff in 1996, serving as an Actuarial Trainee and then an Actuarial Assistant prior to being named Actuarial Analyst in 2000. He was promoted to Associate Actuary in 2001 and to Senior Associate Actuary the following year.

Mr. Cohen was named Assistant Secretary in 2005 and promoted to Assistant Vice President and Managing Actuary in 2007. He was named Vice President of Pricing and Analytics in 2010, and promoted to his current post in 2012.

A Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society, Mr. Cohen earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Mathematics from Union College in Schenectady, New York, and the State University of New York at Albany, respectively.
