Mr. Akhtar serves as Vice President – Chief Data and Analytics Officer and leads the Decision Sciences Center of Excellence (COE) at Utica National.
He joined the company in 2018 as the Director of Business Intelligence & Analytics and was later promoted to Assistant Vice President. In 2019, he was named the company’s first Chief Data & Analytics Officer and was promoted to Vice President in 2020. In Nov 2022, Ajaz was appointed as Head of Claims IT to lead the Claims Transformation Project.
He has more than 20 years of experience building data and technology solutions and has held various leadership positions in the Digital Marketing, Financial Services, and Telecommunication industries. His current strategic focus includes the rapid deployment of SaaS data solutions to gain market share and be more customer-centric.
Ajaz has a master’s degree in Computer Science from Loyola University in Chicago.
