Ms. Miller serves as Senior Vice President, Chief Financial Officer & Treasurer, having joined the company in 2021.

Liz brings over 30 years of experience to Utica National, including senior-level finance leadership roles with several larger insurance carriers, as well as smaller start-up companies. The various companies Liz has spent time with has enabled her to gain exposure to a multitude of different lines of business including workers’ compensation, E&O and D&O, surety, personal lines and various commercial lines of business, as well as experience at an international level. 

Her finance roles have spanned a multitude of finance and accounting disciplines including regulatory reporting, treasury services, financial planning and analysis, mergers and acquisitions, investment management and product development, to name a few. Immediately prior to joining Utica National, she was Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer with a surety bond provider. She has also been self-employed as a finance consultant and has owned various non-insurance businesses.

Liz earned a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of New Haven in New Haven, CT, and a Bachelor of Science degree from Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, CT.
