Mr. Askins serves as Resident Senior Vice President and Regional Manager for Utica National’s Middle Atlantic Regional Office (MARO) in Richmond, Virginia.
Prior to joining the company in 2018, he served as Regional Manager and Middle Market Leader for The Iroquois Group, working with independent insurance agencies within the North Carolina and South Carolina territories.
He previously spent 22 years with The Hartford Financial Services in roles of increasing responsibility, including the general management of a branch that provided underwriting and sales for Middle Market, Specialty Construction, Marine, Small Commercial Lines and Personal Lines, as well as risk management services.
Mark is a graduate of Clemson University in Clemson, South Carolina.
