1. How to Choose a No-Fee Payment Option
You can pay using your bank account through ACH or pay by check to Utica National. These options do not incur a payment processing fee.
Our third-party payment processor charges users a 2.85% payment processing fee to process Card and digital wallet payments through its platform.*
Utica National does not receive any portion of this fee.
2. How to Change Your Payment Method
Change your payment method online
- Log in to our online Customer Care Center.
- Select Billing & Payment.
- Select Manage Payment Methods.
- Update your payment method to your preferred option.
Note: You may also see a temporary $0.00 authorization on your debit card. This is used to verify your card information for future payments. It will be automatically removed from your account within 1-7 business days, usually within 24-72 hours.

Why am I seeing a payment processing fee?
Because Utica National’s third-party payment charges users a 2.85% payment processing fee to process their Card and digital wallet payments electronically through its platform.*
Does Utica National receive the fee?
No. The payment processing fee is assessed, collected and retained by the third party payment processor. Utica National does not receive any portion of the fee.
What payment methods don't have a processing fee?
ACH/bank account payments and checks are no-fee payment options.
How do I change my payment method?
Log into our online Customer Care Center and go to Billing & Payment → Manage Payment Methods.
